Authenticity, Baby

Brooke Giguere

Things I’ve been pondering during the month of May…

  • Slow the fuck down so you can speed up. Don’t stop. Just slow it down.   Be deliberate.  Be intentional.

  • You’re as wealthy and as healthy as you allow yourself to be.

  • Don’t poke the bear. Be aware of your triggers and handle your own mess before you decide to poke the bear.  9 times outta 10, that bear will mind his own business

  • We throw gasoline on our problems instead of our solutions.

  • Acknowledging and validating someone else’s feelings or experience is not about you agreeing with them.  It’s about you understanding that your truth doesn’t have to be someone else’s in order for you to hold space for their experience.  We all just want to be seen and heard.

  • Difficult conversations begin with self awareness.  You gotta understand your triggers, your assumptions and your limiting beliefs so you can process them before engaging with others.

  • My ability to win does not impact your ability to win unless you allow it to.

  • There’s enough for everyone. The pie is INFINITE.

  • You can’t have compassion for others if you don’t have compassion for yourself.

  • You don’t want money.  You want what you believe money will give you…freedom.

  •  Playing an infinite game by using the rules to a finite game is a recipe for stress.  Life is infinite.  Business is infinite.  Stop using the rules to a finite game and expect to win at life and business.

  •  If you don’t almost wanna puke when you say your prices, it’s time to raise them.

Don’t feel like I have much to say these days unless it’s direct and to the point. I live in the comfortable uncomfortableness of life. Where change is the only constant. And the simplest thing to do masquerades around as arduous and heavy.
